If we concentrate on our own inner connection of our heart completely with out judgment we can and connecting us back home to ourself we can be free of doubt, fear, anger, grief, guilt, regret and shame.

External influence constantly build the above mentioned as we live in our head and EGO.

Our past experiences make us waiver and fluctuate. If we learn to slow down to sit to breath, connect inwards to our heart on a regular basis... there will be no need to compare, judge others and ourselves as we become happy with all we are.

Concentrating on the lotus of the heart regularly gives us a view of our limitless possibilities.

Our past experiences are lessons to help us to grow.

Stop judging yourself and start loving the beautiful being you are.

YOU ARE THE CREATOR OF YOUR OWN WORLD , you have an ability to transform and redesign that world!

When you realise this you don’t need to get entangled so much in the outer world but start to enjoy it instead.

When we get on our mat and do the physical poses we don’t always connected with the other changes that happened in our body and mind.

Many people rock up to classes and wait to be told what to do. I get that sometimes I need that too. At some point we need to take in the information and allow it penetrate the layers of our body.

As you progress your yoga journey I encourage you to explore the inner chat, your inner critic whilst trying to attempt the poses. Are you coming at it from a place of EGO or a more mindful attachment to yourself.

Yoga teaches us to allow yourself to fall out of poses so we can learn what needs to be done and become stronger. When we explore the wider aspects of yoga there’s a whole world you have denied yourself because you kept yourself in the boundaries of the mind.

Come and step out of the boundaries of the mind and physically body with me on the mat.

My passion is helping you engage with the current physical limitations which come from your mind, and to help you build strength so you have stability to blossom and grow.

We will be working on the upper back an shoulder area using some deep breathing techniques, deeply restorative supported poses and a guided meditation for further relaxation. Making conscious connections on the mat help you become more in tune with your body and mind off the mat.

When we allow ourselves to be connected we notice our state of being. We allow a space for ourselves to notice our emotionally state and we can recognise in our body the effects it has on us.

Being more conscious and present requires a great deal of effort it’s not easy and we need to be consistent.

Once we get this consistency of showing up on our mat we really start to shift the energy within as we become more consciously aware. 🙏

Finding strength..... what does strength mean to you?
For me it’s not just about the physical strengthen it’s about the strength within you to keep going during difficult times, to stop when you need to take a rest, to say no when you need space for yourself. To help others when they need help, to show up and be present for yourself.
To get things wrong to be able to grow.

A strong body will help stability of the mind and help the flow of our purifying breath.

Last time at my studio today... It’s been a fabulous 5 years in this space but it is time to move forward and let go... and it’s in perfect timing.
To quote Kirsty Gallagher wrote Lunar Living

Eclipses are connected to the lunar nodes, which are to do with our karma, life lessons and what feels safe to us, our comfort zones (south node) and expansion and stepping out of comfort zones to live our purpose and become who we are here to be (north node). That’s why eclipses often bring huge and sudden endings, changes, insights and revelations – they are like the universes way of trying to nudge you back along your life path and into the direction you are supposed to be going, back towards your true north.

Lunar eclipses bring endings and release, the full moon shines a huge illuminating light onto our lives and shows us where we are gripping, clinging, holding on and staying too much in our comfort zones not allowing ourselves to grow and expand.

So perfectly timed for me to let go, so I can grow again and provide you with more support. Going back k to my roots how started out very simple very basic but enjoyable..

Lots of people don’t feel zoom works for them and I get that... ....but there’s a lot of my students that have said they have really improved over zoom.... it’s made them listen to my explanations on a deeper level and had to really learn about their own body and allow my words to penetrate more with them and be more present on their mat!

This truly lifts my heart ❤️ all I want to do is share my experience and knowledge of how yoga has helped me in many ways in my life.
When I hear the progress or struggles my students have over come it makes me feel so grateful.

Let’s keep growing together and supporting each other in our practice.

Things are definitely moving here at Yoga Place North. Those of you who work with me know that I practice what I preach..... I’ve been teaching for many years and have evolved and grown in may areas of my live and in different ways.

It’s not just what you do on the mat but it’s what you learn on the mat that you then take into your life and implement.

My students have seen me change personally, observed me be hurt, been around and see me go through some really emotionally tough times, seen my physical pain and injuries but most of all they have seen my honesty, my live of sharing & giving and I’ve shown up no matter what’s going on, they have seen my passion for helping people around me.

Change is hard and it’s challenging but sometimes it’s necessary if you don’t change you be one stagnant and create dis- ease within.

With so much going on right now it’s hard to stay focused and positive. We will come through this and for most people we will have learnt to keep things simple.

Being a busy Mum, wife, small business owner as well as working in a health club I was constantly in the go juggling and dropping the ball all the time. I had huge anxiety in a morning which is exhausting and I was always that shouty Mum rushing out the door.

Trying to be perfect in what I did actually made me imperfect but now I accept being imperfect and love it.

The change was in the first lockdown having a better morning routine to set up my day and keep me focused.

You can join any class online with 9 classes to chose from there will be one that is perfectly timed for you. Each class will be 1 hour and 15mins long.

We will be holding meditation nights to help ease anxiety and stress usually done on Friday evenings once a month.

If you suffer from posture problems from sitting at a desk or text neck, bad neck or shoulders this workshop will be a game changer. We will ook at the muscles of the upper body and look at strengthening exercises to combat issues of the weaker muscles.
