Janine Noblett is a registered and qualified IYENGAR® Yoga instructor.

Janine has been running The Yoga Place North in Adlington since 2007. Prior to this, I was active out in the community as a professional Fitness Instructor
How many times have you limited your self because How many times have you limited your self because of your beliefs? 

You come up with a plan to then hear the voice in you head telling you “you can’t do that, what will people think, you don’t know how to... “
If you could work on changing you beliefs,  creating new more positive aligned stories you tell yourself, based on fact not doubt and seeing more clearly would it be more possible? 

If lockdown has taught me anything it’s to appreciate what you have but not settle if you unhappy in what your doing. 

Lockdown has given me time to really assess where I am and what changes I want to make going forward. It’s given me some thinking space to create and dream about what direction I would like to go. 

I may have lost over half my business which scares me financially but I also see the opportunity to change how I do things to help others more and enjoy each moment in re building what I want to do.

Ridged body & negative thinking leads to a ridged Ridged body & negative thinking leads to a ridged body and a blocked mind. 

I keep hearing people saying about getting back to normal! 

I don’t want “normal”  it was to fast to anxiety lead I want better that the old normal... in lockdown I had to learn so much and adapt and change and get out of my old stuck ridged ways. In doing this I feel freer,  lighter, more creative, happier and have seen new doors opening to me in this experience of letting the old go. 

Forge your new path, stay in your lane do things that inspire and excite you. What makes you laugh? Who do you have fun with? Surround yourself with those experiences and people. 

Today is the New month,  the sun is shingling we are all moving forward. Make yours a positive step toward happiness and freedom!

Wake up and take you time. How you get up and ge Wake up and take you time. 

How you get up and get going sets the tone for the day. For a balance of good wellbeing take your time don’t rush. 

Drink a cup of warm water to get your internal body ready for the day. Sit for 5 mins 10 if possible and breath nothing else just enjoy sitting and being with your breath. 

Set your intention for the day. 

Setting yourself up first improves your mood. 

Those of you with children you can still do your morning slowly, I changed my routine from the jump out of bed and go because I ended up frazzled in a morning feeling crappy for the endless “get dress” “brush your teeth” routine before school runs. 

By changing the way I went about my mornings my little dude changed his routine naturally, monkey see monkey do! 

Now our mornings a calmer organised and we have fun laugh, and cuddle before we step out the door. This hugely impact both of us. 

Try changing this small part of your day and see how it helps you.

How do you see things? Do you always see the goo How do you see things? 

Do you always see the good in people and situations like Winnie the Pooh or are you more of what I call an Eeyore? 

I was definitely a Tigger bounding in full of it, so fast that I missed seeing things as they are. So much nervous energy living on adrenaline I couldn’t see things clearly. 

I also had a bit of Eeyore in me.. in that I saw everyone achieving things and I didn’t seem to get what I wanted in life. 

I was going so fast to move forward I couldn’t stop to learn what was needed to achieve it. I did the same in my yoga practice I wanted to full pose but couldn’t get there because of my determination to achieve it. 

When I learnt that there’s a bigger picture and changed the eyes of the seer by slowing down breathing exploring and most importantly changing my story I told myself to be more like Pooh bear,  I started to achieve my poses better, I took my time in them to see and feel what I was doing. 
I started to move towards the dreams I wanted in a studio because I looked at each opportunity through different eyes. 

I started to teach better as I looked at people and shared a space with them so I could best guide them and help them on their journey. 

Changing the story within me is the biggest thing I have done to get me to a place of happiness and acceptance. 

To a place where I can see things in a different light and understand others points of view. I’m able to stand back so I can guide my students from watching  observing and listening to their needs. 

I spend my time now as a Yoga teacher and Well-being coach helping others learn these simple adjustments in there life to free them up and be happy.

What is a rest? When someone say have a rest, mos What is a rest?

When someone say have a rest, most of us say “I don’t have time” we believe we are invincible and can carry one. Yes we sure we can but to the detriment of our health. 

I used to be Tigger the tiger always on the go never sat still had to be doing…. in all the doing I missed so much. I was full steam ahead.

 This attitude creates so many issues internally to the adrenal system, to how your body takes on nutrition,  it creates tension you may not even feel then you end up ill. Worn out. 

BKS Iyengar says “Relaxation means releasing of unnecessary muscular tension in your body, which also allows firmness of the inner body and serenity in the mind”

This Friday we will be exploring holding poses and breathing to stretch deeper, using our exhalation to readjust the poses. Focusing on relaxing as you hold the stretch. 
This relaxes the brain as well as the body. We will learn how to relax the throat and tongue, this is a key are to relaxing try brain. 

The throat is the Vishuddhi Chakra a purifying wheel. tightness here suggests intoxication.  Ego is taking you not your soul. We will work on this purification to release the brain.
