    Karuna Yoga

    An Iyengar inspired class, with similarities to alignment, stability and creating suppleness. This class is varied where poses can be held or done in a more playful flow session. It is dynamic and suitable from complete beginner to a more experienced practitioner.     How You Move Affects Your Body’s Ability to Heal After Birth

    Designed to help you heal any ‘mummy tummy’ issues (rectus diastasis) ‘oops’ moments (pelvic floor weakness, incontinence) or aches and pains (pelvis, back, shoulder and neck pain).

    This class will help you;

    Align | Learn simple ways to sit, stand and move better through your day.

    Breathe | Discover how your breath is connected to your pelvic floor and why that is important.

    Discover | What your body needs now to heal and become stronger after birth.

    Release | Tightness, aches and pains from constant feeding and carrying your baby (toddler, pre-schooler..)

    The weekend of Yoga: ***THIS IS NOW FULL CHECK OUT OUR APRIL 2018 DATE*** This is an opportunity for anyone wanting to experience not just one but two great teachers with a wealth of knowledge and experience. There will be something for all abilities and preferences. Expect the weekend to be filled with a fun and friendly approach towards postures whilst also adding a little challenge to each session. There will be static postures to find your alignment and strength and a playful Vinyasa or two to allow flow and freedom. The weekend will feature a wide variety of postures to suit everyone’s needs and will be suitable for beginners to the more experienced yogi. In addition to the physical practice of asana, there will also be plenty of inner refection time, an outdoor walk and a daily morning practice of meditation, pranayama, relaxation and discussions on the philosophy of yoga and applying it to daily life.
    Fees: £280.00 per person. £100 deposit to be paid in 5 days of booking and the rest on request nearer the time. Please just put a note in the comment box if you wish to do this. If a single room is required please add an extra £45.00 pp and state preferred option when booking in the comments section.

    Description : Join us for a day's retreat in the woods! Alan is a Senior level 3 Iyengar Yoga teacher who has studied with the Iyengars many times. He has been teaching yoga for 30 years.    He is an accredited teacher trainer and assessor for the IYUK and teaches both nationally and internationally.  Based in Yorkshire, he lives part of the year in the South of France where he has established yoga classes. £40
