Post Natal Series

    Description :

    Learn the '4 Essentials' on how to truly heal your body after birth. Release the aches and pains you might be experiencing due to changes in your body and the endless feeding regimes.  Discover why your sleep deprived body needs you to slow down and how you can reconnect to your stomach muscles without another sit up ever again.

    Explore simple ways to add more movement into your day so that you move freely and strengthen your body.Enjoy 7 weeks of education, movement and relaxation designed for where you are right now in your postnatal body.  Suitable from 6 - 8 weeks after giving birth.  Babies are welcome to come along with you, you will be free to feed and change as needed, and although they will be with us they won't be used as part of the class (your postnatal body will thank us for this).

Yoga For Stress & Relaxation Courses

  • Meditation workshop: Sun 8th July: 10am on 8th Jul 2018 10:00:am, at The Yoga Place North

    Description : Description : What is meditation? This workshop will explain the connections between why we should practise yoga to move us towards our meditation practise. We cover some of the philosophy behind meditation with the yoga sutras. We also cover the 8 limbs of Yoga so you have a solid understanding of why  the practise of the physical poses  help calm that busy mind by connection you to the physical body and the breath.Once we have learnt to master the physical body and energy body  we can move towards meditation. This workshop will then  introduce you to meditation giving you some simple skills to implement yourself during your day. Wear comfortable clothing Small group £30

    Description : Come join us for a wholesome, full weekend of yoga & delicious food whilst experiencing the beauty of the Cumbrian countryside. Enjoy the peace & tranquility of the large inspiring Scandinavian style eco lodge of the Haybergill Centre. Schedule in some time out to rejuvenate & energise the physical, emotional & mental body. THE YOGA:
    This is an opportunity for anyone wanting to experience not just one but two great teachers with a wealth of knowledge and experience. There will be something for all abilities and preferences. Expect the weekend to be filled with a fun and friendly approach towards postures whilst also adding a little challenge to each session. There will be static postures to find your alignment and strength and a playful Vinyasa or two to allow flow and freedom. The weekend will feature a wide variety of postures to suit everyone’s needs and will be suitable for beginners to the more experienced yogi. In addition to the physical practice of asana, there will also be plenty of inner reflection time, an outdoor walk and a daily morning practice of meditation, pranayama, relaxation, and discussions on the philosophy of yoga and applIcation in daily life.

    ACCOMMODATION & MEALS: All meals are of a wide & varied range of delicious vegetarian dishes & organic produce is used where possible. Accommodation is based on 2-3 shared basis - all rooms are en-suite. There are a limited number of single rooms.

    FEES: The cost of this full weekend is £295.00 per person. If a single room is required please add an extra £95.00 pp & state preferred option when booking.
